In their fastest growing political fraternity in Busoga and beyond,
supporters of the Patriotic League of Uganda, PLU are celebrating the
international recognition of Busoga’s second highest ranking member and Leader
Samuel Nabeeta Mulowoza.
Nabeeta who is number P028 in the Patriotic rankings by PLU leader
General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, travelled to the Spain’s Alicante Palacio de
Congresos to receive an international recognition award for his efforts in
youth mobilization and transformation in renewable energy.
He received the prestigious Honorary Award during the Clevenard Open
Project 2026 – 5th Edition and the Clevenard Global Awards – 3rd Edition in
Spain from August 27 to 30, 2026.
Nabeeta is a Ugandan businessman, entrepreneur and renewable energy advocate much revered for his soft but result oriented leadership style and passion for renewable energy development, entrepreneurship, financial inclusion and youth empowerment.
The honorary recognition was formally presented on Sunday, August 30,
during the fourth and final day of the international event at the Clevenard
Global Awards Ceremony and International Fashion Runway.
The ceremony brought together leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, policymakers, investors, cultural ambassadors and other distinguished personalities from different parts of Africa, Europe, Asia, the Caribbean and the Americas.
The award recognises Nabeeta's contribution to sustainable development and his work in promoting renewable energy, entrepreneurship and economic transformation.
Throughout its formative stages, Nabeeta has been a leading face in the
promulgation of the PLU ideology and is a known Museveni royalist a member of
the taskforce that swept out opposition from Busoga subregion giving President
Yoweri Museveni a political dive in 2026 against his archrival Robert
Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine who won the region in 2021.
Prior to his travel to Spain to receive his recognition award, the 155
Chairpersons of all the Sub counties in Busoga under their umbrella body, the
Busoga LCs Chairpersons Association had appointed Samuel Nabeeta their Patron.
In the political circles in East and Central region, he is a known
kingmaker for many politicians and a quiet but heavy funder!
He is an advocate of the green and renewable energy transformation in
Uganda that now goes global.
