France advanced to the World Cup round of 16 with a 3-0 win over Sweden on Tuesday in East Rutherford. Kylian Mbappe scored twice and Bradley Barcola added another goal.
Mbappe now has 10 career knockout-stage World Cup goals, a record for the tournament's elimination rounds. Didier Deschamps also extended his record for most World Cup wins as a manager to 18.
France will face Paraguay on Saturday in Philadelphia after Paraguay eliminated Germany on penalties.
