The U.S. military repaired and reopened the Port of La Guaira, while European and Asian donors pledged additional funds and supplies. Rescue teams continue operations though survival odds fall with time.
Humanitarian coordinators warned that shelter, clean water and medical care remain urgent needs for displaced families across affected states.
